Why it works

A thermal-rubber lower meets a Cordura upper, with a removable lightweight antimicrobial wool-blend liner and a comfort-foam insole inside. Barrel-adjusted laces, faux-fur trim and reflective bands complete the exact model.

Deux par Deux describes the boot as waterproof and publishes cold protection to −30 °C. Those are maker-specific claims, not a shared test scale or a guarantee for a particular child. Warmth in use also depends on fit, socks, moisture, activity and weather.

Fit and sizing

Deux par Deux instructs caregivers to measure the foot while the child stands, from heel to big toe, add about 2 cm (3/4 inch), then find that result on the insole-length line of its size guide. Habier uses the longest toe as the conservative measurement point, then applies the maker's conversion internally so the parent still measures only once.

The exact boot table publishes these lengths in centimetres by size:

  • 8T: 16.5 cm; 9T: 17.3 cm; 10T: 18.1 cm
  • 11C: 18.9 cm; 12C: 19.7 cm; 13C: 20.5 cm
  • 1Y: 21.3 cm; 2Y: 22.1 cm; 3Y: 22.9 cm
  • 4Y: 23.7 cm; 5Y: 24.5 cm; 6Y: 25.3 cm

Deux par Deux publishes no between-sizes rule. Habier's Fit Finder rounds the converted target up to the next table row as its own conservative engine policy; it does not attribute that rule to the maker.

Materials and care

Composition published by Deux par Deux: part 1 is 100% polyurethane and part 2 is 100% polyester. The liner is removable.

Care published by the maker: machine wash cold; do not tumble dry; do not bleach; do not iron; keep away from fire.
