Why it works
A jacket and pant that size and wear separately, so the jacket can come off indoors without changing the rest of the kit. The size run covers 2 through 12.
Perlimpinpin describes the set as having a textured shell with a breathable, water-resistant exterior, adjustable wrists, adjustable straps and a removable fur band, and made with recycled materials. Those are the maker's descriptions, not our measurements. We have not tested the shell. On origin, both halves: Perlimpinpin says the set is designed in Canada, and its wholesale listing states it is made in China.
What we did check ourselves is the sizing. Perlimpinpin publishes height, chest and waist in centimetres with a stated way to measure, and says outright that age is only a reference. That is why we can answer the fit question instead of guessing at it.

Perlimpinpin publishes a numeric chart for this suit, and says the age column is a reference only. Measure the child and use the measurement.

How to measure, as the maker specifies it: height barefoot with the back against a wall, from the top of the head to the floor; chest under the arms around the fullest part; waist at the narrowest point.
The maker groups 3X with 4 and 6X with 7 on its chart, so those pairs share one measurement band. If a child falls between bands, our free fit help will talk it through with you.
Materials and care
Composition, as Perlimpinpin publishes it. The maker's English and French panels do not agree on the shell, so both are given rather than one being chosen for you.
- English panel, exterior: “Recycled polyester / Polyester // 100% Nylon”. Lining: 100% polyester.
- French panel, exterior: 100% recycled polyester. Lining: 100% polyester.
We have not resolved which of the two is current for this colourway, so we are not picking one. Treat the shell fibre as unsettled; this page is corrected the moment the maker's own sources agree or the label is checked in hand.
Care, as published: remove the fur band before washing, wash in cold water, hang to dry, do not bleach, do not iron, do not dry clean.
Safety
Transport Canada says bulky winter coats and snowsuits may not work well with a child car seat and tells caregivers to follow the seat manual. Follow both the restraint and vehicle manuals. Habier has not tested this snowsuit with your restraint, and nothing here is a safety certification.
